For your ease, you can now request repeat referrals online.
Our online repeat referral service is perfect if:
You've had a referral to your specialist from Warrawong Medical Centre in the last 18 months, and it's time for a renewal.
You've misplaced your referral and need a new copy.
You've visited us in the last 6 months and have a continuing relationship with your GP here at Warrawong Medical Centre.
Please note that for referrals to specialists you haven't seen before through us, or for renewing or reviewing mental health care plans, it's best to book an appointment.
Please allow about 5 business days for your doctor to review and process your online request. If you need your prescription sooner, it's best to book an appointment with your doctor.
Our friendly reception team isn't able to speed up online referral requests, so if you need it urgently, they'll recommend booking an appointment.
There is a $35.00 fee for this online repeat referral service.
How it works
When you request a referral online, the GP at Warrawong Medical Centre will just take a look at your medical history to make sure a repeat referral is right for you.
We'll send you a secure SMS within about 5 business days to let you know if your request has been approved.
When you make your request, you can choose the most convenient way to receive your referral: by email, by picking it up from Warrawong Medical Centre, or we can even fax it directly to your specialist.
To submit your request, you'll need to enter your credit card details, but you'll only be charged the $35.00 fee if your request is approved.
If, for any reason, your request isn't approved, we'll send you a quick SMS to let you know and suggest booking an appointment.
Lost Scripts
If you've lost your e-script or paper prescription, the best way to get a replacement is through our online repeat script service. A $35 fee might apply. Unfortunately, our reception team can't reissue lost scripts directly.
